Exchange + PowerShell Book Needs Reviewers

Hot on the heels of Windows Server 2008: What’s New | What’s Changed, we have another book in need of reviewers who can offer technical corrections, suggestions, and comments on chapters. The book, Exchange Management Shell: TFM, covers the nuts and bolts of managing Exchange Server 2007 (not previous versions) using the Windows PowerShell command-line. You should already have significant Exchange experience, since the book does not seek to teach basic Exchange concepts, but rather focuses on the “how to” of command-line administration. The book consists of about 10 chapters, and anyone reviewing all 10 will be eligible for a free copy (print or electronic, shipping excluded) of the final book once it’s ready. If you’re interested, please e-mail errata (at) sapien (dot) com. Be sure to put “Exchange Book Review” in the subject of your message so that it goes to the right place! We’ll be ready to send out some review chapters next week, and we’re giving you 3 weeks to get through the first seven.

BTW - we’re serious about getting reviewers who can spot technical problems in the book and offer corrections. We highly recommend you get Virtual PC and the Exchange Server 2007 VHD (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=43621a8f-12fb-4e7c-bb38-1cbb6ef272c5&DisplayLang=en); we’re offering a $500 cash bonus to the reviewer who spots the most technical errors and offers technically-accurate corrections! In the event of a tie (we’re optimistic), we divvy up the cash amongst the winners.

Don’t delay - get involved today!
